I turned 70 years last year and had to decide whether to continue practicing or to simply retire. I received a strong message from Above to continue. I will do so because it is my passion and if I can make a difference in a child’s life, I consider it a calling. I am moving my practice to Hartbeespoort Medical Centre. I have now travelled more than 200,000km to the Practice and back and the 3 hours on the road now got to me. The irony is that many patients said that would enjoy coming this way. Even the Joburg crowd said they would make a day outing of it. I am therefore joining the Hartbeespoort Medical Centre on a part time basis, but I can assure you I will keep on working on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
